All Sales Are Final
Carbon Biosupply supplies research-use-only laboratory materials. Because these materials are sterile, sensitive to handling and storage conditions, and cannot be verified as uncontaminated once they have left our custody, we cannot accept returned product back into inventory.
Accordingly:
- No returns. Product cannot be returned once shipped.
- No exchanges.
- No cancellations after payment, except as set out in "Cancellation by Carbon Biosupply" below.
- No refunds, except for verified non-conforming shipments as set out in "Non-Conforming Shipments" below, or where required by applicable law.
Non-Conforming Shipments
A shipment is non-conforming if the product delivered is materially different from the product ordered, is damaged in transit, or does not meet the specifications published for that lot on the Website.
Inspection and notice. You must inspect each shipment promptly upon receipt and report any non-conformity in writing to support@carbonsupply.bio within seven (7) calendar days of delivery. Notice is deemed given when sent. Claims submitted after this period are not eligible.
Supporting information. Your notice must include the order number, a description of the issue, and photographic evidence. Where relevant and reasonably available to you, please also provide analytical data supporting the claim. We may request the lot number shown on the vial label and the certificate of analysis for that lot.
Remedy. For a verified non-conforming shipment, Carbon Biosupply will, at its election, provide one of the following:
- replacement with conforming product; or
- credit toward a future purchase; or
- a refund of the purchase price paid for the affected item.
This is your sole and exclusive remedy for a non-conforming shipment. Do not return product unless Carbon Biosupply expressly instructs you to do so in writing.
Cancellation by Carbon Biosupply
Carbon Biosupply may refuse or cancel any order at its sole discretion, including after payment has been received — for example, where an account has not been approved or is under review, where verification of institutional affiliation is outstanding, where stock is unavailable, or where we believe an order violates our Terms.
If Carbon Biosupply cancels an order, we will refund the purchase price paid for the cancelled order or the affected items. We have no further liability for a cancelled order, including for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages.
Cancellation by You
Orders cannot be cancelled once payment has been processed. If you believe you have made an error, contact support@carbonsupply.bio immediately; if the order has not yet shipped, we may — but are not obligated to — cancel and refund it.
Refund Processing
Where a refund is issued under this Policy, it is returned to the original payment method. Refunds are typically initiated within five (5) business days of approval; the time for funds to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer. Shipping charges are refunded only where the entire order is cancelled by Carbon Biosupply or the shipment is non-conforming in its entirety.
Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support@carbonsupply.bio first. We will investigate and respond promptly, and in most cases can resolve a billing question faster than a card dispute.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension or termination of your account. Nothing in this Policy limits any right you may have under applicable law or your card issuer's rules to dispute a charge.
Product Warranty Disclaimer
Except as expressly provided in this Policy or as required by applicable law, products are provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Carbon Biosupply makes no representation regarding experimental outcomes, product performance in any specific application, or batch-to-batch consistency beyond the published specifications for the applicable lot.
